Recommended PHP Server Settings
We recommend below PHP configurations to avoid errors like blank screen, demo content import fails or theme installation error. You can do below configuration changes yourself or contact your hosting provider and ask them to set below configurations.
- PHP Version Should be > 7.0
- PHP Zip Extension Installed
- upload_max_filesize 50M
- post_max_size 128M
- max_execution_time 500
- memory_limit 512M
- max_input_vars 3000
Tip: You can check PHP configuration settings by installing WordPress phpinfo() extension in WordPress. You can also contact your hosting provider if you don’t know much more about it.
How to Install Workreap Badges

When downloading the zip package file from codecanyon, you'll have all files you need inside. Zip package contains the following files
- workreap-badges.zip - Contains the plugin
- documentation - It contains documentation for the plugin
To install this plugin you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. For more information regarding installing WordPress, please visit the below-mentioned URL
Installing WordPressWhen you are ready to install a plugin, you must first upload the plugin files and then activate the plugin. For this purpose, unzip the file that you have downloaded from codecanyon and there you will see the (chaton.zip) file then upload it via WordPress installer. The plugin files can be uploaded in two ways
WordPress Upload
- Go to Appearance > Plugins
- Click Add New button and then hit the Upload plugin
- Click on Choose File and find the "workreap-badges.zip" file on your computer and click Install Now button
- The plugin will be uploaded and installed.
- For activating the plugin, Go to Appearance > Plugins and activate the installed plugin

Add Badges
Navigate to the Badges Section:- Go to WR Core in the WordPress dashboard.
- Click on Badges to access the badge management screen.
- In the "Add New Badges" section, you will find fields to create a new badge.
- Enter the name of the badge. This is how it will appear on the site.
- The slug is the URL-friendly version of the name. It should be all lowercase and can contain letters, numbers, and hyphens. For example, if the badge name is "Gold Member," the slug could be "gold-member."
- Provide a description for the badge. This field is optional and is not prominently displayed by default, but some themes may show it.
- You can upload an image for the badge. Click on "Add Image" to upload or select an image from the media library.
- Here, you can select various criteria that the freelancer must meet to earn the badge. The available options include:
- Completed Projects
- Completed Tasks
- Task completed before delivery
- Get Rating
- Complete profile
- Approved profile
- Earning amount
- Registration
- Skill specialist
- Category specialist

Enable email:
- To enable this option, the system sends an email to the user that is assigned this badge.
- After enabling the email option, you need to add the subject and content for the email.

Search Freelance Based On Badge
You need to go to WR Settings > Search settings > Freelancer search settings and then enable the Badges option
